Fischer's new Ranger One 130 builds on the success of the Ranger Free. It uses the same excellent ski and walk lever but a wider last shape and the effective Vacuum shell material. The bigger volume and firm flex will appeal to an underserved sector of the market, skiers with broader feet who want a hike mode boot and good alpine performance. GripWalk soles and Dynafit inserts make it compatible with all tour bindings; Vacuum ensures impressive custom fitting during purchase. A floating entry tongue makes entry and exit simple, even in the coldest conditions.

Fit
Generally a high volume fit, a comparatively snug heel and ankle area compared to most high volume fits.

Shell
Vacu-plast PU shell and PU cuff, mouldable. Traditional 2-piece design for the best performance when skiing. Vacuum Shell technology means the shell of the boot can be precisely moulded and fitted to the skier's foot.

Liner
3D Active Fit Zone liner, mouldable. Pre-shaped for the best fit out of the box, mouldable to ensure the best possible comfort, foot hold and performance. Active Fit Zones use softer material in sensitive areas, with firmer materials where support and power transmission are needed, these stiffer areas include flex zones for a dynamic fit.

Ski/Walk Mode
When the best downhills are waiting on the other side of a long uphill, the Ranger's excellent walkability is a skier's best friend. Switch the clever integrated lever on the side of the cuff to walk mode for an excellent range of forward motion. This switch location makes it easy to access and ensures no compatibility issues with walking crampons.

VACUUM
Vacuum technology uses a unique process and a specially developed high-tech plastic to adapt the shell of the ski boot to the anatomy of any foot. Prior to fitting the plastic of the boots are heated and softened. With the liner inserted, the skier’s foot is placed inside. A special cooling pad is placed around the outside, followed by a compression bag linked to the Vacuum Fit station. The skier then stands on the station in a pre-determined position, this will ensure the boot cools down and shapes to the skier’s natural stance. Once in position, air is pumped into the compression bags, pushing them against the boot and improving the mould being taken of the foot. This procedure achieves a sporty, comfortable fit that is unrivalled in this segment. The heel and ankle area can be expanded or compressed to create best possible shape; the forefoot can be made roomier.

Vacu-Plast
This unique material was developed exclusively for use with Fischer ski boots. Apart from its extraordinary moulding properties Vacu-Plast also has other special features: it is very temperature stable, meaning it isn’t adversely affected on extreme cold days when certain plastics become very stiff; it is lighter than other materials used on performance ski boots, and it has better vibration dampening.
