Beacons Challenge 2023

We’ve teamed up with The Youth Adventure Trust to bring you the Beacons Challenge 2023.

On Saturday 15th July 2023, we’ll be heading to the Brecon Beacons for the revamped 10 Peaks Challenge,  now renamed the Beacons Challenge. Participants will now have the option of taking on either 6 Peaks or 10 Peaks. Are you up for the challenge?!

The Route

The route takes in 6 peaks during the morning and 4 peaks in the afternoon. As the route isn't marked, at least one member of your team will need to be a competent navigator. You’ll be provided with a map and anyone not familiar with the area can request route advice at registration.

Teams

Made up of 2-6 people, in the past this challenge has been used by numerous companies for staff development and team building, as well as by friends and/or family who would like to share an experience in the mountains.

Fundraising

There is no entry fee but the Youth Adventure Trust ask that all participants commit to raising £200 each. These funds make a huge difference to the lives of the vulnerable young people that they support.

Don't just take our word for it!

The Beacons Challenge is a fantastic event, a rewarding challenge and a great opportunity to push your personal limits. But don't just take our word for it;

(Tim, participant)

"Thank you so much for such a wonderful event – honestly one of the most enjoyable days I’ve had; flawlessly organised and even the weather was pretty perfect for a walk like that (apart from the fog at the top of Pen y Fan you guys really need to sort that for next year….)."

Sophie, Great Western Railway

"We had a fantastic time on the trek, really enjoyable and so well organised. The final ascent was painful but such a good feeling to reach the top knowing it was all downhill to the finish!"

Hadyn, BLB Kilminster Beer LLB

"I'd like to say thank you! Thank you for organising the event, thank you for everything you do for the charity, but most importantly thank you for your support this weekend. You and your team are incredible. At each checkpoint we were reminded of how well we were doing and how proud they were of us. It really gave us the boost we needed to keep going."

Mark Brigham, Ellis Brigham Marketing Director

"This event is unlike any other – it’s challenging for sure but the teams of volunteers really make it something special. Top tip: choose your team mates wisely and enjoy it!"
