The Ellis Brigham 10 Peaks Challenge
We’ve teamed up with our official charity – The Youth Adventure Trust to bring you the 10 Peaks Challenge on Saturday 8th June 2019.
You and your work colleagues and friends can team up to scale the highest peaks in the Brecon Beacons in just 10 hours for charity!
Teams of 4-6 walkers participate in the one-day event to test their endurance, commitment and ability to work together on this scenic tour of the Brecon Beacons. There is no entry fee just a commitment to raise £1500 per team ( in a team of 6 that’s £250 per person).
We recommend teams of 4-6 people but no less than four so that no-one is alone at any point. You will need to ensure that two members can navigate with a map and compass and the whole team must finish together. The event is timed, and there are prizes for the quickest finishers.
Once your team is registered online, we will send you a list of local accommodation with some specially negotiated discounts. On Friday 7th June there will be an event registration and briefing evening at a local hotel (location TBC). After the Saturday event, we will be hosting an official ‘after-party' that everyone is welcome to attend (at the same hotel).
We don't charge an entry fee, but we do ask all teams to commit to raising £1,500 for the Youth Adventure Trust. Don't worry - we are here to help you! Once you have registered your team, we will give you a call to chat about your fundraising plans, and there is loads of advice in the challenge handbook.

Don't just take our word for it!
"Thank you so much for such a wonderful event – honestly one of the most enjoyable days I’ve had; flawlessly organised and even the weather was pretty perfect for a walk like that (apart from the fog at the top of Pen y Fan you guys really need to sort that for next year….)."
Sophie, Great Western Railway
"We had a fantastic time on the trek, really enjoyable and so well organised. The final ascent was painful but such a good feeling to reach the top knowing it was all downhill to the finish!"
Hadyn, BLB Kilminster Beer LLB
"I'd like to say thank you! Thank you for organising the event, thank you for everything you do for the charity, but most importantly thank you for your support this weekend. You and your team are incredible. At each checkpoint we were reminded of how well we were doing and how proud they were of us. It really gave us the boost we needed to keep going."
