Wednesday, 17 July 2019 from 20:15

Join us for a free large screen showing at our Covent Garden store of Patagonia’s latest film: Artifishal

Artifishal is a film about people, rivers, and the fight for the future of wild fish and the environment that supports them. It explores wild salmon’s slide toward extinction, threats posed by fish hatcheries and fish farms, and our continued loss of faith in nature.

Hatcheries and net-pen fish farms are driving wild fish to extinction around the world. If we want healthy fish populations for our children and grandchildren, we need to stop relying on artificial propagation and start recovering more wild rivers and other critical habitats.

Patagonia says 'We made our new film Artifishal to help ensure a future with more fish for all of us. We are living in a time of high human population and increasing pressure on our natural resources. If we want fish for our kids, we need to take responsibility for protecting the wild fish and waters that we love.'
