Britain's Got Skiers
This year marks the 3rd year of a competition that has struck a chord with the British Skiing community. With a record 35 entries, Britain's Got Skiers showcases and rewards the very best skiing and editing talent that the country has to offer and 2012 has proved to be the best yet!
Throughout Summer 2012 skiers throughout Britain submitted edits to the BGS Facebook page in the hope of being featured on a 60 minute DVD and being crowned the overall winner of £500. This annual competition is supported by some fantastic brands and they include: Go Pro, Salomon, Giro, Forcefield body armour, Planks, Volkl, Line, Marker, Full Tilt, Dalbello, Atomic and SNO!zone.
As with previous years the London ski & snowboard show was the venue for the very first showing of the finished film (edited by Eddie Thelwall) it was here we announced the 2012 winners who are:
Overall winner: Rob Embling for his edit of James Woods
Best Girl: Chloe Hardy who wins goodies from Planks
Under 16: Monty Wright who wins a Go Pro
Judges Prize: Julian Ball who wins a Go Pro
Biggest Slam: Mike Wakefield who wins forcefield protection
