Alex first discovered climbing about 7 years ago and his love for the sport has never faded away. He went on to study Outdoor Education at University level in the Lake District where his climbing skills really flourished.
Since moving to Liverpool he has become pretty prevalent on the local climbing scene and is a familiar face at indoor walls. He boulders in Wales as often as he can and enjoys all-day sessions on Welsh limestone with the odd bit of sport climbing thrown in.
He recently attended Kendal Mountain Festival where he was excited to bump into Alex Megos, a prolific German climber. He also taught Cedar Wright, climber, film-maker and TNF athlete, how to do the macarena dance after a moon board session.
Although he loves Wales, he's been planning a trip to Font as well as working on a route around Europe that incorporates the best boulder problems but injury and lack of funds often gets in his way.
