WET GRIND VS. STONE GRIND - WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

The punishment taken by your skis means that every so often, they will need to be given a grind when being serviced to restore their bases. Scratched and damaged ski bases can make them slow and less responsive. A base grind will smooth out imperfections, but the kind of grind you need will depend on a few factors. So if you find yourself asking 'Which base grind do my skis need?', our in-house ski workshop guru Pete is here to talk you through the difference between a wet grind and a stone grind, so you know which to ask for!
