Definitely don’t miss this years MV FESTIVAL in Aviemore 1st – 3rd March.
With its exciting and thrilling combination of snow sports, live music and comedy acts, the Mountain and Valley Festival is back for its second Festival this March. Last year, the MV Festival saw the likes of A-List comedians Craig Campbell, Andrew Maxwell and Ed Byrne wowing the crowds with Frankie Boyle making a surprise guest appearance.
As well as big names, the MV Festival also saw up-and-coming bands and acts, giving the audiences the chance to see the wide variety of hidden talent that is out there. The MV Festival is excited to announce that, for the second Festival, which will take place on 1-3 March this year, their headline act will be hit band Toploader. The Festival will also see the return of comedians Craig Campbell and Andrew Maxwell, with the addition of Phil Nichol and Terry Alderton. Many of the bands that played at last year’s festival are also returning, and there are a number of new and exciting bands and acts that will also be performing during the Festival.
Up on Cairngorm Mountain there will be plenty going on with a variety of competitions taking place during the day on Saturday and Sunday and we’ll be there with a selection of the latest skis and snowboards for you to test out at no charge. Disability Snowsports UK, one of the charities that the Festival is supporting, will be offering extra tuition for people with special needs. There will also be DJ’s playing up the hill, adding to the Festival atmosphere.
As well as supporting new and up and coming bands and acts, the MV Festival also works closely with two brilliant charities, Disability Snowsport UK and Children’s Hospice Association Scotland, with all profits going towards these charities to help support the terrific work that they do.
