EUROPEAN OUTDOOR FILM TOUR 2018 - VARIOUS UK LOCATIONS

The European Outdoor Film tour is one of the biggest film festivals for outdoor sports and adventure documentaries.

Last year’s events sold out so due to popular demand we’ve added even more UK locations to the 2018 tour. This November, 11 locations around the UK will show 2 fantastic hours of documentaries encompassing the world of outdoor, sport, travel and adventure.

Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports are excited to once again be the UK's hosting partner.

The E.O.F.T. features stories of real people who live their dreams. The exclusive programme can only be experienced in this format at E.O.F.T. events. So get your tickets online or in selected Ellis Brigham stores and go to the far corners of the earth and discover the personal highs and lows of explorers, adventurers and everyday people who are pushing their own boundaries.

THE A.O.

Adam Ondra is one of the most successful and versatile sport climbers of our time. He successfully climbed the most difficult route in the world, now called Silence, and established a new level of difficulty—9c. But is it simply Adam’s muscle power and endurance that enables him to conquer the most difficult routes?

NORTH OF NIGHTFALL

Axel Heiberg Island is Canada‘s seventh largest island and lies north of the Arctic Circle. This rocky landscape crisscrossed by mighty glaciers offers the most spectacular mountain bike terrain. It’s no wonder Darren Berrecloth, Carson Storch, Cam Zink, and Tom van Steenbergen can‘t resist these endless descents.

THE FRENCHY

Anyone who hears Jacques Houot‘s life story will be surprised at how the 82-year-old has managed to reach this age. There were at least 23 close calls in his life. Somehow, he has always managed to land on his feet and keep going. No mountain bike trail and no ski slope is safe from this Frenchman.

VIACRUXIS

There are times when a mountaineering expedition turns into an absolute nightmare. Fortunately, our two stalwart mountaineers are unaware of what lies ahead of them on this tour. VIACRUXIS is a labour of love—an animated stopmotion film about the obstacles one must face on the mountain.

A TO B ROLLERSKI

In 1988, Raimond Dombrovskis began the longest training run of his biathlon career. Accompanied by his dog, Bucis, and a VW Bulli full of equipment, he set out to cover 6,700 kilometers on rollerskis, from Canada to the Mexican border. The gravel roads are bumpy, the leggings are skin tight and adventure awaits.

8000+

In July 2016, the paraglider Antoine Girard set off on a three-week hike-and-fl y tour to explore the Karakorum mountains in Pakistan—alone. The Frenchman‘s attempts to climb the 8,051-meter-high Broad Peak and paraglide back down have failed twice. Now, his hope is that the upwinds will carry him to the summit.
