Joe Fisher

Joe Fisher is a 23 year old climber and photographer who is currently working in the Manchester Deansgate store. Since starting climbing through the Scouts as a teenager, Joe became steadily more interested in all forms of climbing but, through his time at university, developed a specific interest in Alpine and Winter climbing. After initially pursuing a career in law, Joe made the brave decision to leave the path of a 'safe' career behind and pursue his hobby full-time with the ambition to eventually become a Mountain Guide.

So far his adventures have taken him from Scotland to Africa with some notable climbs being an ascent of the iconic Old Man of Hoy and a rare winter traverse of the Cuillin Ridge on the Isle of Skye. With a trip to Alaska in May 2017 in the pipeline, Joe is an exciting young prospect for British climbing and can be followed on his blog - where he ties his passion for the mountains together with his love for photography and writing.
