Favourite ski of the week: Probably the Nordica Eliminator, because it rocks no matter what you are doing or where you are doing it. It’s lively, stable and grippy, but most importantly it rewards skier input – making me put a bit of effort in. The K2 Apache Crossfire was probably just behind, the way it hugs the snow and drives through each turn is a great feeling but it’s also relatively easy to use.
Overall thoughts, on the test and the range: There are loads of really excellent skis at all price points, just make sure that you think about your true ability and where you want to use it and you won’t be disappointed...
