Favourite ski(s) of the week: Dynastar 8800. Excellent off piste ski. Feels like you skiing with no effort, very stable and easy to ride – just makes you want to open up and rip through the powder. Fischer RX8 (9?) – whatever the upper level one was. Loads of fun for blasting the piste. Suits all radius turns and really give rider loads of positive feedback. Caused me to have one very big crash when seeing how far I could push it – however, may have been me not the ski that gave way first!
Overall thoughts, on the test and the range: Great range this year. Loads of models that would suit intermediate to advanced skiers at all price ranges. Defenitely a ski for everyone somewhere. Look out for battle between the improved Rossi B2 and last years best the K2 recon for the best all conditions off piste ski.
