Where’s it going to be skied: Powder, soft snow, pillows, BC kickers, filled-in trees, anywhere you want maximum floatation and the most fun. Rocker at the tip and tail works with the 122mm waist to enable smooth pow turns and slashes, with no tip hook or tail catch.
Who’s going to use it: Powder addicts and backcountry freestylers. Weight can be an issue on wide skis, so Salomon have focused on keeping the Rocker2 light by using a honeycomb tip/tail and dropping the metal edges from these areas. The result is a lower swing weight for better spins, improved control in deep snow and a less tiring ski to use.
