Recommended binding: Tyrolia Peak 11 Package price: £265
Where’s it going to be skied: Parks, ‘domes, dryslopes and even some all-mountain. The Jib Rocker uses a flat camber underfoot with a rocker at the tip and tail for easy surface tricks and decent pop. Matched with the 85mm waist, directional sidecut and stable radius, this actually makes for fun all-mountain ski for lighter skiers.
Who’s going to use it: Novice freestylers, younger or lighter skiers, or anyone looking for a jib/rail ski to thrash around on the UK scene. Considering it uses a full wood core and the package comes with a freeski specific binding the Press represents excellent value.
Key features: Jib Rocker
Tester Comments: Jamie (Milton Keynes) ‘Soft and poppy. Great for nose/tail presses and butters, and general jibbing.’
