La Plagne is a clever combination of a vast 10,000-hectare ski area, 225km of runs connected with the resort of Les Arcs. Its ten sites, which are all linked, offer a wide choice of skiing terrain, from the Bellecôte glacier at 3,250m to fir and spruce forests down to 1,250m. The six high-altitude resorts feature a functional style of architecture. The four lower village resorts have been able to retain more traditional architecture.
