    Suspect RLD 13/14 Skis

RLD stands for Rider Led Design and one of those riders is James Woods. It's the ski the whole UK is hoping will take him to the top of the Olympic podium. This is a freestyle model that, thanks to a full wood core and a firm flex, packs a decent punch everywhere on the mountain. It's constructed with sidewalls and standard camber giving it plenty of energy, whether boosting out of a pipe, hitting kickers or laying down high-speed turns on hard-pack. It's handy on rails too and that's why Salomon add wider edges and Edge Armour to increase durability. And it'll even deal with a bit of all mountain riding as the waist is 86cm and the whole design is about maximum stability.

Tester Comments: Jake (Castleford) 'Super stable and great pop; the stiff flex makes it wicked for big kickers. Also good in soft snow and all mountain.'

It feels poppy and fun to start off with and when you pick up the pace you can feel how much grip it’s got on the edges. 86mm means its stable both in the park for stomping landings or around the hill when cruising. It’s a good option for anyone who wants a cool looking all mountain ski.
