These are outstanding. I wore these as a novice and they took me up several 4000m peaks in the Swiss Alps over a couple of seasons without a blemish, and are still in perfect condition. Great in snow and ice, also on rock pitches, good crampon fit, adjustable with the inner tongue, good lace lock system, take them off after 10 hours and your feet are like from bedroom slippers. In a blizzard at the top of the Jungfrau, I felt rock solid and protected. You can get half sizes if you look. Simply outstanding.
