Are you drinking enough? - Hydration Packs

Staying hydrated while you exercise is crucial, failure to do so will quickly result in a loss of strength and stamina followed by cramps, fatigue and dizziness. The best way to maintain your fluid levels is to drink little and often, thirst is a delayed response so by the time you're actually thirsty your body is dehydrated. To do this you need to ensure that you have quick access to your chosen drink, a bottle hidden in the depths of your pack will be awkward to access and you will be more likely to push on down the road to dehydration rather than stopping for a drink. Luckily the demand to hydrate smarter, faster and more efficiently has been answered by the advent of the hydration pack, and there now exists a competent range of hydration systems on the market that will allow you quick and easy hands free access to your aqua. The size and feature line up on hydration packs vary massively depending on the activity they have been design to support, but they all incorporate a reservoir with drinking tube which allows you to sip away at your chosen drink while running, riding etc. So remember, the best defence against dehydration is a good offence – drink regularly! Check out the list of recommended hydration packs below and make sure that dehydration doesn't halt your fun this summer.
