Web Chat - Whitelines vs Dark Summer

Zack Wragg, Editor of Dark Summer Freeski Magazine, and Ed Bloomfield, Editor of White Lines Snowboard Magazine, will be online for webchats from 3 ? 4pm.

And we quote, "An overwhelming number of Brits have admitted that they would rather spend time on the slopes this winter with the Royal Princes than with hot Hollywood stars Brad and Angelina. 39% of Brits would rather holiday with the brothers than with the glamour do-good couple, who only managed to attract 28% of the vote

Celebrated style icons Posh and Becks, and Kate Moss and Pete Doherty, didn?t fare too well in the poll either, conducted by airline bmi to coincide with the ski season . The Beckhams scraped in with 17% of the vote and Kate and Pete struggled behind at 11%. On the flip side, whilst their popularity may be low, they did prove more popular than the Blairs. Tony and Cherie were voted the celebrity couple least desired for off piste frolicking - receiving a measly 5% minority.

David Cameron carved past the Prime Minister to win the Cool Britannia vote - with 74% of the British public agreeing that he is more likely than Tony Blair to go snowboarding!

Despite his poor performance in the polls, the Prime Minister should take comfort in the fact that although the British public don?t want to see him on the slopes, the majority of us have never taken to the slopes ourselves! An overwhelming majority of Brits (75%) admitted that they have never skied or snowboarded ? with the most likely age group to have ever skied aged between 45 and 54.

Indeed, the general trend is that older is cooler with Sir Roger Moore voted the king of cool!

28% of Brits think the smooth talking former James Bond who starred in ?For Your Eyes Only?, has more style on the slopes than Victoria Beckham and the late Princess Diana ? not bad for a 79 year old!

Moore, who did not take to the slopes until he was 50, has a well documented passion for skiing and dislike of snowboarders, claiming in 2001 that snowboarders ? have no regard for the people below - they usually take aim at skiers and they frighten the life out of me."

Want to find out more about who and what Brits think will be cool on the slopes this winter?".
