For 2013 Ellis Brigham & Glenmore Lodge are proud to announce a partnership that aims to equip more people for the mountains through the provision of equipment, training and experience.
Glenmore Lodge is Scotland's National Outdoor Training Centre: their aim is to offer world class training in outdoor adventure sports, encouraging more people to enjoy the outdoors more often.
They offer courses from introductory level through to advanced an instructor qualification courses. Their instructors spend a lot of time training the future generation of instructors, coaches and leaders.
Courses offered range from rock climbing to kayaking, winter skills to ski mountaineering and biking to medical and rescue.
The most visible part of Glenmore Lodge's work is the delivery of instructional courses, a significant part of their work is in supporting the entire outdoor sector from schools, youth organisations and clubs as well as the wider adventure tourism industry.
Glenmore Lodge is situated at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park just 8 miles from Aviemore. The location provides immediate access to Britains most extensive and iconic high mountain range as well as the best rivers and lochs Scotland has to offer.
With their professional knowledge and expertise, Glenmore Lodge have provided a list of clothing and equipment tried, tested and approved by their instructors in the Scottish Mountains.

Learn to Canyon – 2 Days
We believe this is the only 'learn to canyon' course in the UK. Develop your personal canyoning skills, enabling you to tackle lower graded canyons on your own. Perfect for those who have experienced a canyoning day and would like to be able to complete their own trips without hiring a guide.

Cuillin Ridge Traverse – 5+ Days
A guided scrambling experience, attempting a continuous traverse of the famous Cuillin Ridge on Skye. This is the UK's ultimate mountaineering expedition. Had enough of the indoor wall? Transfer your indoor skills onto real rock. We'll introduce you to all of the skills needed for sport climbing whilst ensuring you get to climb the maximum number of different routes. This course also forms an ideal stepping stone for those interested in eventually 'trad' leading.

West Coast Classic Rock Climbing – 5+ Days
If you’ve dreamt of climbing the classic routes around Glen Coe, Ben Nevis and Garbh Bheinn, then this week will fulfil your ambitions. We start using our pool and local loch before heading to the West Coast. Mountain Biking Expedition – 3 Days
How to plan, prepare and execute great multi-day trips anywhere you want. Everything from 'how to,' 'what to', and 'where to' are taught during a two night remote expedition.
